I got my first guitar at the age of 16. After hearing Joe Satriani, Tony Macalpine, and the entire Shrapnel catalog. I was hooked. Originally from San Diego, being raised in NorCal had its benefits. Getting to see all the bay area bands in thier glory was a lesson in tone, as well as setting the bar for shred playing ability. Following Tetament, Vicious Rumors, Exodus, and Satriani to all the classic venues of the bay area was the basis of my search for the ultimate tone.

Having been in the electronics industry for 20 years, repairing tube, and solid state amps, and working for multiple audiophile amp companies through out the years gave me the ability to realize my goal. I wanted an amp that could reproduce the tone I was after, by plugging straight in, with no pedals, or crap in the front end of the amp. My first offering, the "STEALTH" is just that, a no frills tone machine, that can go from clean, to grinding, to full tilt harmonically rich saturated distortion in one amp.

Each MOORESOUND amp is hand built one at a time entirely by myself here at my shop in Oceanside, CA  to the highest quality standards using only top quality parts.

Amps are available on a built-to-order basis and typically have a lead time of around 2-3 weeks.

MOORESOUND amps are custom built from the ground up utilizing proprietary components, grounding techniques, and optimized signal routing, all of which result in superior tone and extremely low noise and hum, even in high-gain circuits.

Being a guitarist/musician of over 20 years with an extensive background in all areas of live guitar rigs/live sound and electronics. I've been custom building/modding amps professionally for people for many years and always to the highest standard possible.
